This was our share of the snow.....

We got 25 inches of snow by the time this picture was taken.  It was still snowing at the time.

I took this one, so that you could see how much actually accumulated on the sidewalks. BTW, I shoveled about 10-12 inches of snow on this same walk right before I went to bed and woke up to find this much more on the ground.

There is a car in there somewhere.  This was the hardest part of snow removal today.  We do the old fashioned way with a shovel.  No snow blowers here.  : (

These are our front steps.  Can you see them there vaguely?
What a day!  I am sore and tired, but the kids had fun it it, so not all was bad.

I hope that most of you escaped this storm and for you that have....let me know where you are, and I am in the market for a new state to live in....nice and warm and where they have no idea what a snow plow is.

Have a beautiful weekend everyone, and stay warm!

OMGosh Carloyn, I HAVE been thinking about you! You are going to have some toned arms. That is alot of snow ~ unbeleiveable and NO snowblower, unspeakable!! Please be careful shoveling. Give the kids a snowshovel!! Well, you would also not want to live in Minnesota although we are fairing better than that right now. Hugs to you, Jane

You might want a nice little bungalow here in Southeast Georgia. I haven't seen snow in the 20 years I have lived here. But, I warn you we have sand knats that come out every day when it is beautiful out and torment you until you don't want to come out of you house. They leave little red dots all over your skin. I think there is a controversy as to whether they actually "bite" you or that they pee on you and what you feel is a chemical reaction??? My question is which is the better of two evils???? haahhaha
