M5D Spring Flower Garden Tri-Fold Card

Hi my dear blogging friends....I have had this card ready to post for awhile now, and have not had the chance to do the write up.  I just got a new laptop, and I cannot figure out all the little quirks for the life of me.  I am hoping that this will post ok and that you can enjoy all of the pictures.  I made this card for McMahon Five Designs.  I have to tell you that this is one of my favorite all time cards that I have made.  I love the gatefold cards anyway, and this one turned out better than I had even hoped for.  I hope you like it too.  I used some wood paper for the corner dies that can be found exclusively at the McMahon Five Designs store.  The tiny roses, champagne pearl gems and gorgeous Tim Holtz hardware can also be purchased through M5D.  Sue just got some new inventory this week too that is to die for.  I have already made my purchase, and I am wondering how long her stock will last.  She has some of the most beautiful pearl adhesive flourishes that I have seen around, and she got a couple of the  Popcorn Bear stamps in that are too cute.  Drop over for a browse.  What an awesome variety of unique and hard to find items.

Inside the card with a little pocket that houses a little tag/bookmark with a few special words on it from another digi that can be found at the McMahon Five Designs

The tag all by itself...

Inside the card with the tag outside the pocket...

inside the card without the tag shown at all...

I hope you enjoyed your visit here today, and please let me know what you think of my tri-fold card.  I so enjoyed making it and would love to hear your thoughts on it.  Have a beautiful day my friends, and Happy Easter to you and yours...

MMSC47 Patchwork Quilt Bear Card

Welcome to my blog this morning.  We are on the MMSC47 already.  That just blows my mind for real.  This was a great sketch that Priscilla came up with this week, but another very challenging one.  I flipped the sketch again to suit my card.  Seems like I do that alot I guess.  I tried to do the prairie points for this card to give it the final touch of the patchwork quilt feel .  These cute bears were offered up as freebies at the Cuddly Buddly site.  They have some really cute digis, so I thought I would try one out on my card this week.  My envelope was made once again with the clever design made by Priscillastyles.   If you haven't already done so, drop by her store to check out her envelope kits and the many different varities and samples available.  Just beautiful.  Thanks for being our wonderful sponsor as well as hostess this week/month, Priscilla!

Drop by The Midnight Madness Blog to read the latest and find out what great prizes are being offered.   Sadly, we are saying goodbye to two of our DT sisters this week:  Sue and Jane.  They have shared many laughs and lots of inspiration with us and will be very missed.  We wish them the best of luck with what their future prospects may be.   Change is the one sure thing that we can always count on in life, and with this change, may life offer you many blessings.

Congratulations to our MMM and MMR winners this week: MMM

M5D Floral Cross Easel Easter Card

Can you believe that Easter will be here in just a couple of weeks?  Now that winter is gone, I fear that my Spring and Summer will just fly by.  I want to capture every warm and happy moment that it has to offer. To remind me that Spring is here now, I have created this easel card with a beautiful M5D digi image that has just recently become available along with a nice variety of new Spring/Easter digis that have been added to the M5D store.  They are so wonderful that I am wondering how I will find the time to use them all as quickly as I would like to.  If you haven't been over to the M5D store yet, now is the time to pay them a visit.  Along with my M5D digi, I also used some other M5D items including wood paper dies, tiny roses and half pearls.  I used the Priscillastyles envelope kit to create my box envelope, and it is all ready to go to someone for Easter.  I have not yet decided who though ; )

I hope you enjoyed your visit here today, and please feel free to leave me a comment to let me know what you think of my creation.  I look forward to hearing from you and appreciate the time you take to leave me a message.  Have a beautiful day!!

MMSC46 Tilda Picking Flowers...Pocket Card for Seed Packets or Little Gift

Happy Spring Everyone!!!!  Could anyone out there be any happier than I am about this???  : )
My card today reflects this happiness that overcomes me right now.  The flowers are starting to come up, the air is warmer, and life once again emerges outdoors.  What a wonderful world it can be.

A Priscillastyles envelope kit envelobox.  Priscilla is our gracious sponsor and hostess this month.  Envelope turned out beautifully.  Perfect fit too.  Thanks, Priscilla!!  This has to be the easiest kit out there to use.  Check out her variety of styles at her store.  You'll love them.   Our weekly sponsor this week is D'Amour Allure.  There are some beautiful images available there...especially if you are a lover of the vintage era.  If you are interested in having a look, drop by the McMahon Five Design Store and browse around.   To catch up on some of the other MM happenings, don't forget to get the latest at the MM Blog

M5D Spring Chickadee Altered Easter Journal and some new M5D digis

Good evening, and Happy weekend friends~
If you have not been over to the McMahon Five Design's store lately, now is a great time to drop by for a visit.  Sue has been so busy stocking her store full of gorgeous Easter, Spring and just plain beautiful digis to create with, and while you are there, check out some of her newly stocked primas and embellies.  You can create some of the most incredible cards with her supplies.  Don't forget that M5D is the home of the wood paper that always gives that unique and natural, breathtaking beauty to our creations.

I decided to try out an altered journal this time.  I still am a work in progress with some of these altered items.  I am still new to this sort of thing.  It really is fun to do though, and I imagine that you can alter pretty much anything to your liking.  Look how cute these little chickie digis are.  I created a wood paper fence with the M5D wood with flower soft lining through the fence planks.  Gives off a nice, Happy spring and Easter feeling.

Lots of ribbon along the binding for a fun and colorful touch.

I hope you enjoy, and I appreciate your comments and your visit.  Have a great weekend!!

Hugs and Blessings to you!

MMSC45 Humpty Dumpty Sat on the Wall

Good morning my friends~
I have to share with you that the first time Priscilla revealed the MMSC45 sketch to us, the first and only thing that popped into my mind was humpty dumpty.  Once it got in there, it would not leave, so I had to tweak the sketch just a tiny bit to fit my idea and then to life this image came to be.
I did not have a humpty dumpty image to work with, so you are viewing my own hand-drawn image for this one.  It is not officially a digi print, just my own drawing that I printed out to work with.  I did pop the image for dimension and created my own broken egg as a closure on the handmade box envelope that was made with our own hostess and sponsor this month Pricillastyles envelope kit.  I love using her envelope kits.  They are so easy to use, and some of the styles are so creative and beautiful.  Stop over to her store to see some gorgeous examples of what they can look like.   I would like to thank our weekly sponsor this week too.  Michelle's Scrapbooking...Home of the Pixie Cottage Stamps as well as many other popular images and supplies.  Hope you will give them a visit too and see all the goodies they have to offer.

Congrats to our MMM and MMR winners this week:

M5D...For God So Loved The World...Wooden Cross Card

As a McMahon Five Design Team member, I want to share with you, my friends, a special Easter card that I made using some of the amazing wood paper products that you can find at the M5D store.  This particular wood is actually strips rather than sheets of paper, but it is nice and thick and could not be more perfect for the wooden cross that I was hoping to achieve.  There are so many details on this card, but if you look closely, you will also see that more wood paper is used as part of the background and has also been punched with a Martha Stewart edge punch.  Most of the wood paper is very easy to punch or cut and looks amazing on cards like this where the effect comes off perfectly.  There are so many beautiful woods to choose from at the M5D store as well as just tons of other wonderful products to help you create beautiful things.  Hop over and give them a look.  There are some new digis that have been added for Spring and lots of new primas, embellishments and much more.

I couldn't help but show you this in a more antiqued photo.  I just love the look of this one.  I am thinking that this one would be great in a frame.

I hope you enjoyed your visit here today and that you would be kind enough to leave me a comment to let me know what you think of my wood Easter card.  I love hearing from you and hope to be around to visit you soon too.

Have a beautiful day!
Hugs and Blessings~
