A Little Mixed Up Post...Father's Day....!!

I think I have some 'splainin' to do. lol.....  This card is one that I did for the M5D, and I guess I forgot to post it!!!  My DT position is up there, and I was suppose to have this posted in April.  I am so sorry, Sue!!  I guess these days, I don't know if I am coming or going.  With all else that is going on, I am feeling terrible this week.  Don't know if it is allergies or if I caught a cold somewhere.  It's really making me feel run down.  The good news is that because I am stuck in here with feeling so bad, I did get on my computer and look at my blog and my pictures, so low and behold came across this card!
So, I realize that today is Cinco de Mayo, and that this weekend is Mother's Day!!  Why not post a Father's Day card?  Everything else around here is backwards.

This is my hubby's card for Father's day this year.  I love this cute bear that I got from the M5D store.  There are some really cute sets with this Popcorn Bear over there.  I also used some of their zebra wood paper and the champagne colored pearls.  Sue has really stocked up the store with some great items.  Some really great digi's too.  Pop over for a look yourself Here

We are starting a vegetable and fruit garden this year, so I will take some pictures of the progress along the way to show you....if Mother Nature cooperates with us and we do have a productive garden.  Luckily, we have planted some grass, and it is actually growing. lol....  Wish us luck!  I do love garden vegetables!

Thanks for dropping by for a visit with me today.  I hope you enjoyed my creation, even if the timing is not so perfect.  Hope to see you again soon, and please drop me a line in the comments to let me know your thoughts.  It always puts a smile on my face and brightens my whole day.  I thank those of you that take the time to do so.  Bless you and hope your day is wonderful too.

Hi Carolyn, I love this little bear card...he looks so relaxed in his deck chair with cup of tea in hand and paper on his head! Just adorable! Beautiful work with the wood and corner embellies. My son and I just had a couple of peppers and some green beans from our little garden but unfortunately our broccoli has aphids now so we are desperately trying to get rid of them. Hope you end up with a garden full of fresh veggies and enjoy making your garden. Feel better soon my friend. Will stop by to check on your pickies when you start the garden.
Big hugs,
Charlotte

This is just THE most gorgeous card, your attention to detail is fab. I love the wood effect door, right down to the little bitty things at the bottom. Sorry my mind has just gone blank, I don't know what they're called, but they really make your wood look like a door! Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous card at Sweet Stampin.
